On waking up

I’m beginning to realize just how much I've been unexpressed and quite possibly in a depressed haze for quite some time now, holding back, almost like I've been walking around in a fog.

It was only last week when it hit me. In what felt like an instant, I saw things in a new light, clearer than ever before, and it was kind of shocking.
